Our Story
A Family Tradition Since 1970
Founded by Vincent Quintana after sharing homemade meals at General Motors, Mexico Lindo began as a small venture with co-worker Lalo on Highland Road in Waterford. Originally a drive-in named Rael’s, it opened as a Mexican restaurant on March 29, 1970.
As the business grew, Vincent’s wife Isabel took over daily operations, eventually adding a bar and in the early 90s. In 1994, their daughter Elizabeth and son-in-law Kasper took the reins, continuing the family legacy.
In 2025, Mexico Lindo joined Alex’s Hospitality Group, now owned by the Nannoshi family—proud to uphold its welcoming traditions and generations of loyal customers.
